The 16'  fiberglass Klepper Kamerad was made during the 1970's in Eastern Germany and can still be found used in good shape.
The Kamerad was the pioneering predecessor to Kruger canoes like the Seawind series. Mad River also copied many of the design features with their Monarch model.
We think they sail great.
